Reporting Bugs
If something in Eythio looks broken or behaves unexpectedly, you can report it directly from the app. The Bug Reports page lists the reports you have filed and lets you submit new ones. This is for reporting problems with the product itself, not for tracking bugs in your own projects (use Issues for that).
Filing a report
- Open the Bug Reports page and click Report a Bug.
- Fill in the form:
- Title — a short summary of the problem.
- Description — what happened, and what you expected to happen.
- Severity — Low, Medium, High, or Critical.
- Reproduction steps (optional) — the steps that lead to the problem, which help the team fix it faster.
- Submit. Some technical details, such as the page you were on, are captured automatically so you do not have to describe them.
Tracking your reports
The Bug Reports page shows each report you have filed with its ID, title, severity, status, and submission date. Click a report to see its full details.
A report moves through statuses as the team works on it, starting at New and progressing through triage to a resolution (resolved, won't fix, or duplicate).
Editing a report
While a report is still New (before the team has triaged it), you can open it and edit the title, description, severity, and reproduction steps. Once it has been triaged, the report is locked to preserve the team's notes.
